UM Prince George’s Hospital Center Foundation, is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of our donors and other visitors to our web site. Opt-Out or Change Your Contact Information
UM Capital Region Health Foundation only gathers personal information such as first names and last names, home addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and donor-supported designations when voluntarily submitted by you. With your permission, we will use personal information collected from you to send you information such as developments at UM Capital Region Health hospitals and medical facilities, programs, grateful patient stories and news, and fundraising initiatives.

You are in control of any personal information you provide to us on-line. If, at any time, you would like to change or correct the personal information we have about you or if you would like to change your preferences for contacts from us and we will update our records immediately.

Online Profile Donations and Updates
If you make an online donation, personal information – including credit card or electronic funds transfer information – will be collected from you for the purpose of processing that donation. Personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, phone number, and email address are used to acknowledge receipt of your donation for tax purposes and to include you on the Foundation's mailing list if you choose to join it. No UM Capital Region Health Foundation will request or collection sensitive personal information, such as medical information, social security number, gender, race, orientation or other protected information.

This Web site may include links to other web sites, which, we believe, may be of interest to you. We are not responsible for, and exercise no control over, the privacy and security practices of any other Web site or the nature of the content contained therein.

Sending us an Email
You also may decide to send us personally identifying information, for example, in an electronic mail message containing a question or comment, or by filling out a Web form that provides us this information. We use personally identifying information from email primarily to respond to your requests. We may forward your email to other employees who are better able to answer your questions. We may also use your email to contact you in the future about our programs that may be of interest. We want to be very clear: We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us. We do not willing collect personal information about minors. Unless otherwise indicated by the user, all visitors are subject the UM Capital Region Health Foundation Web Site Privacy Statement. Personal information will not be collected and used for users self-identified as a minor.

We collect and store only the following information about you: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet, the date and time you access our site, and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked to our site. We use the information we collect to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors.
