Domanique M. Burnard
Domanique M. Burnard joined UM Capital Region Health Foundation Office in December 2016 as administrative assistant and development associate. In her role, Domanique provides administrative assistance to the Executive Director, coordinates all office service functions, and serves as administrative liaison to the Prince George’s Hospital Center Foundation and Laurel Regional Hospital Foundation Boards of Directors. Domanique’s responsibilities as development associate include coordinating, marketing and establishing partnerships for the Vehicle Donation Program, supporting the success of special events and managing the UM Capital Region Health Foundation robust social media platforms. Domanique also provides technical and logistical support for multiple projects, meetings, conferences and all fundraising events.
Domanique is no stranger to healthcare, before joining UM Capital Region Health Foundation Office she began her career in healthcare with Medstar Washington Hospital Center where she worked for six years for several departments, including, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Nephrology, and Urology. In those roles Domanique was responsible for providing direct administrative and logistical support, facilitating various stakeholder meetings for groups within the health sector and community, and overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of various healthcare fellowship programs.
Domanique is a certified professional in social media marketing and currently matriculating at Ashford University pursing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Marketing. Domanique joins the UM Capital Region Health Foundation Office with strong core values of integrity, innovation, and results-focused along with her progressive career in healthcare and marketing and social media. With a passion for philanthropy, Domanique is a proud long-term volunteer for The American Diabetes Association.
Combining her love for writing and creativity, Domanique is a contributor to Spicy Candy DC, a local lifestyle blog. Domanique has expanded her online audience of enthusiasts with her own original series called, “Inspire Me” featured on the site where she interviews individuals of interest and influence with the Washington, DC Metropolitan region.
